Delivery & installation

Each single piece of furniture we provide is made in France and departs from France.

We deliver and install in the room for the following countries: Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Netherlands, U.K. Switzerland.

Your piece will be protected under a blanket to avoid any micro-scratches.

For all other countries, the delivery is "door to door". Solid wood furniture is heavy, we recommand you to carry only 20 kg / 45 lbs per adult person max. For European deliveries, the piece of furniture will be wrapped in a specific blanket. For overseas freight, all pieces will be packed and shipped in a wooden box.

Duties and taxes outside of the European Union will be charged to the customer.

Our furnitures are always assembled in our workshops. Please check that your entrance doors, lifts or stairs are large enough to unload and carry easily your furniture.

An average lead time of 5 weeks is noted before shipment for production and finish purposes. The shipment time itself depends on the final destination.

Please take time to check your piece of furniture by the arrival and write down all reservations to the carrier. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any doubt.

High-end furniture + Made in France furniture: the DNA of Mon Petit Meuble Français

Mon Petit Meuble Français is a brand that elevates furnishings to an art form.

  • Local origin and sourcing: we select our materials (mainly solid wood) from PEFC-certified, sustainably-managed French forests. Sawmills and transporters are located close to our workshops (mainly in Brittany and Pays de la Loire), thus limiting our carbon footprint.

  • Handcrafted production: each piece of high-end furniture is entirely handcrafted by expert cabinetmakers based in the western part of France. These workshops perpetuate local know-how.

  • Renowned French designers: we collaborate with Eric Gizard, whose EGEE collection reflects a Scandinavian elegance punctuated by clean lines and subtle colors.  Christophe Lecomte's STELLA collection blends contemporary design with classic heritage.

  • Customizable finishes: our tables, chairs, bookcases and sideboards are available in a wide range of colors (up to 11 standard shades). You're sure to find a model to suit your preferences and your interior.

Mon Petit Meuble Français is high-end furniture designed and manufactured with respect for the environment. To find out more about our commitment, visit our about us page.

Why buy top-of-the-range furniture?

There are several reasons for this choice:

  • for quality and durability: the sturdiness of solid wood furniture promises pieces that will stand the test of time without losing their charm.

  • Refined aesthetics: our designers, like Eric Gizard and Christophe Lecomte, put their signature into every creation. The style is inimitable.

  • Comfort: whether it's a desk, sideboard or dining table, we don't sacrifice comfort for design. On the contrary, at Mon Petit Meuble Français, the two go hand in hand.

  • An ethical approach: to promote the local economy in France while limiting the carbon footprint linked to the transport of materials and finished products.

The strength of our collaborations: designers and craftsmen

Mon Petit Meuble Français owes much of its renown to the coming together of two complementary worlds.

The designers:

  • Eric Gizard: he draws his inspiration from French elegance and Scandinavian sobriety. His clean lines, combined with colorful finishes, give rise to furniture, tables, consoles and secretaries of rare delicacy.

  • Christophe Lecomte: trained at the Ecole Boulle, combines the subtlety of classical style with the modernity of contemporary design. His STELLA collection features solid wood with subtle veins, embellished with curves reminiscent of traditional furniture, creatively revisited.

Local craftsmen :

  • Cabinetmakers, wood carvers and finishers all work on the furniture by hand, piece by piece.

  • Every stage in the manufacture of Made in France furniture is controlled: choice of board, sanding, assembly, lacquering or varnishing.

  • Our workshops are located close to each other. As a result, we limit travel and reduce our carbon footprint.

Thanks to this creative (designers) and technical (craftsmen) duo, we can provide you with furniture that is both aesthetically pleasing and hard-wearing, rather than standardized, mass-produced pieces of furniture of unsatisfactory quality.

Buying from Mon Petit Meuble Français means investing in high-quality furniture that lasts.

100% French manufacturing: the stages

Wood selection: ash, oak or cherry, all from sustainably managed forests in France.

  • Sawing and preparation: in our local sawmills, lumber is selected from the highest quality batches: 1 and 1+, and shipped in the form of plots to our workshops.

  • Cutting: these plots are cut in our workshops according to the dimensions required for each piece. There are usually between 40 and 80 pieces of wood per piece of furniture.

  • Manufacture - machining: each piece is then shaped for a particular function, using specific machines to produce traditional mortise, tenon and dovetail joints for instance.

  • Handcrafted assembly: furniture assembly begins with the assembly of parts to make sub-assemblies of door panels, legs, tops, etc... before assembling the furniture as a whole by hand to guarantee its solidity and longevity.

  • Meticulous finishing: dismantling the furniture, sanding, masking, applying 3 or 4 coats of spray lacquer and varnish, sanding between each coat, then drying and reassembling... Each piece is treated with the utmost care.

  • Quality control and delivery: before being dispatched, each product undergoes a thorough check before being picked up by the carrier. The carrier will then arrange a delivery date to your home, with the furniture installed in the room of your choice or at your door step or at the ground floor depending on your location.
