Wooden Display Cabinets
designed in Paris and handcrafted in the French regions
A designer wooden display case for a practical and durable storage
The display cabinets designed by Christophe Lecomte combine visual pleasure and functionality. In the upper part of each display case, you can show off your finest pieces: art collections, colourful knick-knacks or even travel souvenirs. In the lower section, you can hide away everything that doesn't necessarily deserve to be visible: table linen, files or everyday items.
The grip is integrated into the handle, and each door is mounted on shock-absorbing hinges. This attention to detail makes closing more discreet, while protecting the furniture. What's more, the 2-door format is 75 cm wide, making it equally at home in the living room, hallway or kitchen. So you don't need a huge room to install this display case: it can be used in a variety of configurations and appeals equally to decorating enthusiasts and design lovers.
Glass and wood shelves for a refined presentation
The display cabinets on offer include glass shelves to showcase your favourite items, as well as wooden shelves for larger items.
Each shelf is adjustable by means of cleats, giving you the freedom to modulate the interior space to suit your desires. You can place crockery, vases, photo frames or even books on these shelves, which are similar to the function of a small glass bookcase. The possibilities are endless and can be adapted to suit the style of your home. You can also opt for other types of furniture, such as a solid wood desk.
A solid wood display cabinet, open or closed
Some people prefer a full-height glass display case, while others prefer a solid lower section for greater privacy. For example, we can replace a wooden panel with a glass panel to create a full-height, open display case. This customisation can evoke the spirit of a wooden china cabinet or an open bookcase, while retaining the practicality of a display case with a glass door. It all depends on how you want to decorate and the visual balance you're looking for.
To show off your most beautiful knick-knacks, you can decide to illuminate your display case by placing spotlights under the top shelf or by sticking a strip of LEDs on the back of the glass shelf for backlighting; tell us which you prefer!
For a more classic showcase with all glass sides, we recommend the MELANIE showcase from Maison GONTIER.
Local, eco-responsible manufacturing
At Mon Petit Meuble Français, we are committed to craftsmanship and the choice of reliable materials. The doors of each display case are made from oak or cherry wood. Both species come from French forests that are sustainably managed and PEFC certified.
We have chosen to work only with solid wood and veneer to preserve the natural warmth of the fibres.
Cherry is particularly appreciated for its subtle shades and elegance, while oak is particularly robust. Some people also opt for solid wild oak with an oiled finish, or veneered oak for a more contemporary look. In all cases, the approach is based on a desire to protect the environment.
Clever design for optimised storage
Even in a small space, the solid wood display case frees up space while contributing to the overall look of the room. It's perfect for living and dining rooms, or for displaying crockery in the kitchen.
Fans of timeless design will appreciate the simplicity of the lines, while others can go for an industrial style by opting for black metal. Some models even have a slimmer structure for smaller spaces.
This makes it possible to create a harmonious arrangement around other solid wood furniture, such as solid wood consoles or a matching high solid wood sideboard.
A display unit for every room
We like to remind you that each wooden display cabinet is not confined to the living room. It can also be used in the bedroom to display small treasures or to store folded clothes. O
here are even fans of this format who use it as a glass cupboard, adding a few decorative accessories.
In the kitchen, the solid wood display cabinet proudly holds jars, crockery or collectible dishes. In an office, it can be transformed into a glass bookcase, housing books and files behind a sliding or swinging door, depending on the model chosen.
Tailor-made solid wood display cabinets to meet your needs
If you need solid wood furniture with special dimensions, don't hesitate to contact our team. Each display case can be handcrafted, or even adapted: you can add an extra niche, adjust the column, or opt for an assembly of modules. We take care to offer a wide choice, so that you can find the model that meets your precise needs. A taller format, for example, makes it easier to store large items.
In the Mon Petit Meuble Français collection, each model has been designed to find its place in an interior, whether it's classic, modern or more eclectic in style. We invite you to discover our proposals and to contact us if you would like a particular finish or made-to-measure dimensions.
